Futari Wagyu Ginger Beef - Wagyu Shogayaki

Ingredients (for 4)

500g thinly sliced Futari Wagyu Ginger Beef Sliced

¼ Cup finely julienned fresh Ginger

200ml Dashi Stock

2 TBSP Sugar

4 TBSP Sake

2 TBSP Soy Sauce

Cooked rice

Cooked beans, broccolini or your preferred vegetables

 Method

 Defrost your frozen Futari Wagyu Kiriotoshi in fridge for 24 hours.

  1. Place ginger, sugar, sake, soy sauce and Futari Wagyu Kiriotoshi in a small pot.

Add enough dashi broth to cover Futari Wagyu Kiriotoshi and bring to a simmer.

  1. Stir occasionally and cook till meat has changed colour – approximately 3 minutes.
  2. Serve in a bowl separate to or over cooked rice and decorated with beans/broccolini or your preferred vegetables.
